Vict or Maria for friends and I’m a Landscape Photographer from Italy. My interest in photography exploded in 2015, after my high school degree in Economy and Business I began playing with my father’s camera. Stunned by the amazing jobs of some landscape and nightscape photographers I realized what I wanted to do “when I grew up”.

Spending days and nights out taking pictures became an addiction, and I decided to aim for the better. So in 2017 I moved to Tenerife, where the sky still enchants me every night, and the Teide National Park has become my second home. Living all my life next to a big city such as Rome, now, being able to see the Milky Way with my naked eye in such surreal landscapes while everything is calm and quiet, is priceless.

I also shoot to edit. The camera cannot capture reality as it appears in front of us, so part of the work is done in post-production, where the pictures come to life, and convey the feeling of what shooting that photo felt like to me.

I’m a child of the postmodern era and I grew up with action movies such as 007, Indiana Jones, and Pirates of the Caribbean, as well as fantasy movies such as Harry Potter, Star Wars, and Avatar. All of these heavily influence my photography.

I believe that photography can be a powerful tool for raising awareness about conservation by helping people connect with the secret beauty of nature.

Photography is a way to tell how I see the world and a way to share my vision with others.
